Two of the structured data types this category sells no longer produce anything in Google. The FAQ rich result was narrowed to a handful of institutional sites and then withdrawn from search altogether; the how-to result was removed years before that, with Google deleting its own documentation because the feature had stopped appearing. Most of the leading listings here still advertise FAQ markup as a benefit. Product and breadcrumb results remain current, and review snippets still work for genuine product reviews.

Your theme is probably already emitting some of this. Shopify's reference theme prints product structured data through a built-in filter, covering the essentials such as name, description, image, brand and offer details. What it leaves out is the identifying and social parts, the SKU, the global trade number, the aggregate rating, and those are the genuine additions an app makes. View source before you buy: Open a product page and search it for structured data. If your theme already prints it, you know precisely what is missing and can ask about those fields, rather than paying for something to duplicate what is there. Two sets of product markup on one page is a real outcome of installing without looking.
Discount the retired types entirely: A listing advertising FAQ or how-to rich results is describing something Google no longer shows anyone. That is not necessarily dishonest, marketing copy ages, but it tells you when the page was last thought about, and it should not count toward the comparison.
