Which restock actually triggers the message: The event these apps listen for is fired when a variant comes back into stock, and Shopify's own documentation notes that online channels are notified when the variant becomes available online. If your stock moves between locations, arrives through point of sale, or sits at a warehouse you do not sell from, ask specifically what counts as back in stock before the emails go out.
