This one search returns two unrelated kinds of app in roughly equal number, which is worth knowing before the list below confuses you. Half are URL redirect managers, for when a page stops existing and its address should still lead somewhere useful. The other half are geolocation redirects, for steering a visitor to the version of the store that matches their country.

Shopify already covers part of each. There is a built-in redirect table that issues real permanent redirects, accepts a bulk CSV import and holds a very large number of entries; what it will not do is match a pattern, so every address has to be listed literally and anything involving query strings is unreliable. What to look for in a Redirect app

Work out which of the two you are actually shopping for: The symptoms are nothing alike. Broken links and lost rankings after a migration or a replatform are the first category. Visitors seeing the wrong currency or language are the second. Almost nothing in one list helps with the other problem, and buying across the two is how people end up with three apps.
For broken links, patterns are the product: Shopify's own table already does the literal list, and already takes a CSV, so a straightforward set of redirects needs no app at all. What it cannot do is express a rule: everything under an old path, everything matching a shape. If you arrived here with thousands of dead URLs from an old platform, that rule engine is the thing you are paying for.
