The Buy Button is a real sales channel, included on every plan, made for embedding a product on a site that is not your Shopify store. Shopify's own documentation says it does not recommend using Buy Buttons on your Shopify online store or blog, because they can cause problems with the checkout process. If your plan was to put one on your own product pages, that sentence is the whole answer.

The accelerated payment button is Shopify's: it has to sit inside a product form, Shopify picks a single button to show on a product page rather than all of them, and its markup lives in a closed shadow DOM, so no theme CSS and no click tracking of yours reaches inside it. The other is a cart permalink, a plain URL naming a variant and a quantity. Those have documented limits worth knowing: selling plans do not work with them, they cannot bypass a storefront password, and line item properties are capped and must be encoded.
