What is missing is everything that would let a report run without you. Nothing native schedules a recurring export, and nothing native delivers a file anywhere except your own downloads folder, so a weekly file for your accountant, a nightly feed to a supplier or a sheet your buyer opens on Monday is someone else's job.
The exports themselves are also narrower than they look. An order export is a fixed set of columns you cannot choose, and it either downloads or gets emailed to you depending on how many orders you asked for. A product export leaves the images out.
