The top 10 apps merchants see when they search the Shopify App Store for omega, in the exact order the store ranks them. Only Shopify's organic ranking is shown, never sponsored ads.
Updated September 8, 2026 · Organic rankingTracking on Shopify does not work the way it does elsewhere, and this is the category where that matters most. A pixel no longer runs on your page: it runs in a sandbox. An app's pixel executes in a worker with access to almost nothing, where Shopify states plainly that traditional pixels relying on browser objects such as the document will not function, while a pixel you paste in yourself runs in an isolated frame that cannot reach the page around it. Script tags, the old way of getting code onto a storefront, are on a published retirement timeline, and Shopify's own advice is that anything collecting analytics or conversion data should be a pixel instead.
The other half of the pitch is server-side sending, usually described as a conversions API. That is a genuinely different route: the browser is not involved, your store notifies the ad platform directly. Worth understanding as a separate mechanism rather than a better pixel, because the two fail in different ways and most listings blur them.

Built for Shopify
Built for Shopify is the highest level of recognition Shopify awards an app. To earn
the badge, an app must meet Shopify's standards for safety, performance, ease of use,
and proven usefulness: it cannot slow down the admin, storefront, or checkout, must
integrate seamlessly into the Shopify admin, and must demonstrate quality through
installs, reviews, and ratings over time. When comparing similar apps, preferring
ones with the badge is a safe default.

Explore Rankbase →Rankbase is made by Craftshift, a Shopify Partner building apps for product images, variants, and bulk catalog work. We built Rankbase to track the App Store rankings of our own apps first, then opened it to other developers, and this directory grew out of that work. The rankings on these pages are Shopify's own organic search results; we never edit them, including for our own apps.
