Shopify has a bulk editor in the admin already, and a CSV importer beside it, and between them they cover more than this category tends to admit: prices, SKUs, tags, inventory, metafields, collections. Not one of the leading listings names either as a comparison. What the native tools genuinely lack is the part that makes editing in bulk survivable: seeing the change before it happens, undoing it afterwards, and scheduling it to revert when the sale ends.

Their other edges are worth knowing before you decide. A CSV file has a size ceiling, and CSV cannot delete products at all, so a bulk clear-out is not something the importer will do for you. Shopify's own guidance past a certain volume is to stop using the admin editor and switch to a file, which is a fair indication of where its comfort ends.

Undo is the whole product: Everything else here is convenience; the ability to reverse a change that hit four thousand products is the thing you are actually paying for. Ask how far back it goes, whether it restores the previous value or merely a snapshot, and what happens if somebody edited a product by hand in between.
Scheduling that reverts by itself: A sale that starts on Friday is easy. A sale that ends on Monday without anybody remembering is the feature, and it is the one most often bought after the first time prices stayed discounted for a fortnight. Check the revert is scheduled at the same moment as the change, not left as a second task.
