Sponsorship terms

For sponsored placements on Rankbase's Best Shopify Apps pages. Short on purpose.

  1. What you buy. One of 3 labeled "Sponsored" slots on a single Rankbase Best Shopify Apps page for the number of weeks paid, shown to all visitors, rotating position daily with the other sponsors. Priced per week ($50 at the time of writing, plus tax where it applies), 4-week minimum, 12 weeks ahead at most.
  2. Content. Your card shows your app's icon, name and subtitle from your public Shopify App Store listing, refreshed daily. We do not accept custom text or images.
  3. Links are marked rel="sponsored". This is visibility, not an SEO link.
  4. Eligibility. The app must be live on the Shopify App Store and relevant to the page's keyword. We may remove an irrelevant or misleading placement and refund unused full weeks. Apps that are delisted, deceptive or in violation of Shopify's terms are removed without refund; a delisted app's card is hidden until the listing is back and hidden days are not refunded.
  5. No guarantees of clicks, installs, position or exclusivity; competitors may sponsor the same page. We do not provide traffic or click statistics.
  6. Invoices are issued automatically at payment with the company name, address and tax ID entered at checkout and cannot be changed afterwards.
  7. All sales are final except as stated above. A chargeback ends the placement immediately and bans the app and email from future purchases.
  8. If Rankbase removes the page itself, unused full weeks are refunded.
  9. Prices may change; a price change never affects a paid placement.
  10. Rankbase is a Craftshift product. Sponsorship does not affect the organic ranking on the page, including for Craftshift's own apps.

We built Rankbase to track the App Store rankings of our own apps first, then opened it to other developers, and this directory grew out of that work. The rankings on these pages are Shopify's own organic search results; we never edit them, including for our own apps.
