Shopify has no concept of an event. There is no date on a product, no time, no capacity and certainly no seat. What exists is options and variants, so every app in this category does the same thing underneath: the date becomes an option value, the ticket type becomes another, each combination becomes a variant, and that variant's stock count stands in for how many people can come.

Attendee names travel as line item properties, the same plain text fields used for engraving.
