The top 10 apps merchants see when they search the Shopify App Store for product feed, in the exact order the store ranks them. Only Shopify's organic ranking is shown, never sponsored ads.
Updated September 8, 2026 · Organic rankingThe awkward fact under every feed is that Shopify has no field for a product identifier in the sense channels mean it. There is one variant field described as "the barcode, UPC, or ISBN number for the product", a single loose string that could hold any of them or something else entirely. Shopify's standard metafields do split identifiers properly, with a UPC that must be twelve digits and an EAN that must be thirteen, and they are readable and writable across apps, which is why a feed tool can pick up an identifier another app or a person put there. Reconciling the two is work every one of these products has to do, and it is worth asking how each one does it.
The other thing to hold onto is that this is the multi-channel job. One catalog has to become a different shape for each destination, and every destination disagrees about required fields, category names and formats. That is what the rules, filters and formulas on these listings are for, and it is a different purchase from connecting a single shopping channel.

Built for Shopify
Built for Shopify is the highest level of recognition Shopify awards an app. To earn
the badge, an app must meet Shopify's standards for safety, performance, ease of use,
and proven usefulness: it cannot slow down the admin, storefront, or checkout, must
integrate seamlessly into the Shopify admin, and must demonstrate quality through
installs, reviews, and ratings over time. When comparing similar apps, preferring
ones with the badge is a safe default.

Explore Rankbase →Rankbase is made by Craftshift, a Shopify Partner building apps for product images, variants, and bulk catalog work. We built Rankbase to track the App Store rankings of our own apps first, then opened it to other developers, and this directory grew out of that work. The rankings on these pages are Shopify's own organic search results; we never edit them, including for our own apps.
