The top 10 apps merchants see when they search the Shopify App Store for minimum order quantity, in the exact order the store ranks them. Only Shopify's organic ranking is shown, never sponsored ads.
Updated September 8, 2026 · Organic rankingShopify models this properly and then puts it behind a door. Every variant carries a quantity rule with a minimum, a maximum and an increment, and the increment has real arithmetic behind it: it must be no greater than the minimum and the maximum, and both must divide by it. Themes can read the same rule. But setting one to anything other than the default requires B2B features enabled, because the rule is written onto a price list attached to a catalog and a company location rather than onto the product. An ordinary direct-to-consumer store cannot use it at all.
So every app here rebuilds it, and the mechanism they must use is specific. A message on the cart page does not stop an order: Shopify says that covering express checkouts, including Shop Pay, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay, means using the cart and checkout validation function, which cannot be bypassed by customers. The good news is that this route is not plan-gated the way the native rule is, since functions run on every plan except the entry-level one.

Built for Shopify
Built for Shopify is the highest level of recognition Shopify awards an app. To earn
the badge, an app must meet Shopify's standards for safety, performance, ease of use,
and proven usefulness: it cannot slow down the admin, storefront, or checkout, must
integrate seamlessly into the Shopify admin, and must demonstrate quality through
installs, reviews, and ratings over time. When comparing similar apps, preferring
ones with the badge is a safe default.
