Locations in the admin are defined as the places where stock is held and orders are filled, warehouses and dropshippers alongside retail branches, and none of that reaches the storefront as a directory. The only native trace a shopper ever sees is pickup availability on a product page, which exists only where a location has local pickup switched on and is read one variant at a time. The complete list of your locations lives behind an authenticated admin call, so a theme has nothing to build a map from.

- Whose map, and whose bill
- A map is either a commercial one that needs an API key billed to your own account, or an open-data one that does not.
